Using Tempranillo and Graciano grapes from vines more than 40 years old and all the know-how passed down by our ancestors, Señorío de Librares has created this impressive signature wine.

After malolactic fermentation in fine-grain oak casks, the wine is left to rest for a few months and then bottled with no further treatment. A certain amount of sediment in the bottle bears witness to its extraordinary quality; this is a healthy, honest wine that will delight the most demanding of palates.

A deep, saturated purple-red with a ruby rim. To the nose there are sensations of toffee and fine toasty notes, with hints of coconut and vanilla, against a backdrop of red fruits and notes of liquorice giving a broad, round and voluptuous attack in the mouth, wellbodied, meaty, unctuous and powerful. The tannins bring character, structure and just the right acidity, with a long and pleasurable finish.

Blue fish in sauce, game, and roast and grilled red meats are some of the perfect dishes to enjoy with a glass of Selección.
